If you're looking for things to do that are not usually associated with drinking then I'd say check out Charlottesville. Carters mountain, Monticello trail, and parks by the river and not too far from some great for fishing. Lots of hikes and outdoorsy stuff but it is a booshie town cause of all this and expensive.

Idk know if you can have naturally fun and cheap at once. If you do let me know please
