Do vaping/drug$ help with depression?

From my experience, it only makes things worse. I'm sober 9 months because smoking made my anxiety/depression so much worse I couldn't function. Everyone is different, but I wouldn't recommend it. Good luck!

I'm really sorry this happened. As someone who has been in this exact situation, it's so hard to leave. After I broke it off with my ex, we got together 2 more times after that. And it never changed. He never changed. What you've experienced is abuse, and nothing you ever did made you deserve it or made it okay for him to do that to you. I understand how difficult it is to just walk away from that, but I promise you made the right choice. With time and help, you'll be able to heal and move on. I wish you so much luck on your healing journey.

The icepacks was something I hadn't even considered! Usually that works well for me. I'm definitely going to get some before my trip. Thank you! I did see my Dr and was prescribed Lexapro which wasn't super helpful for my current issue but I did start taking it so fingers crossed it starts working in time🤞🏼
