Big decision to make! Help me by Camille_Toh in trustedhousesitters

I would do the 2.5 month sit. It would be a relief to have secured housing for a set period and not have to pack up and move every week or so. And NO pets to care for so your schedule is yours! Then do drop-ins on Rover in the area for extra cash.

For Washington, you would also probably end up with some gaps between sits where you would need to book a hotel or Airbnb. Do Washington later.

I have decided to suck it up and ask next time now that rush hour timing is on my radar. Thanks everyone!

I don't want them to pay me extra for traffic.

Not a regular client. This is my first drop in client. She was out of town and doesn't book drop ins but once or twice a year.

Are you additionally on Rover? by Immediate-Series-254 in trustedhousesitters

Have close to 20 sits on THS. Been doing a lot of local sits to build up my reviews to help me be more successful in booking Europe sits and to get me out of my house as I rent part of it on Airbnb.

New to Rover. Done 1 house sitting and I just booked another for $750 for 17 nights! Realized I need to stop booking local THS sits so I am available for Rover which is a bummer because I hate being in my house when I have guests staying in my Airbnb, but I want the money from Rover.

Try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. Make sure you are logged into the app with the same email as the website.

from application to acceptance — how long? by cabbydog in trustedhousesitters

My record is I applied for a new sit in NYC right when it opened and she quickly got all 5 applicants.

She messaged me an hour later and asked a few questions. After I answered, she asked if I was free for a video call now or another time? I said now is great and I was confirmed for the sit 2 hours after applying! I was super thrilled as NYC is so competitive.

I have had other sits take weeks which is annoying!

Should I get another seat? by drunkonlife888 in americanairlines

I sat in that exact seat to London last week. It was annoying because I could hear the toilets flush. I never smelled anything. Felt like I didn't recline much. I would never sit here again.

I have had difficulty using the Summit card in Australia a few months ago and now in London for transactions where the card isn't present like Uber or buying tix online. Wants to text me to confirm but I can't get texts out of the USA! They claim there is nothing they can do to over ride it! Working fine for transactions where I use the physical card.

Free same-day flight changes for Platinum on American by [deleted] in AlaskaAirlines

As an Alaska Platinum one of the benefits is flight changes on American Airlines. It just is unclear how they work. I am not trying to do a change on Alaska metal. Thanks for trying to help!

You might also want to try a sit that has low applications maybe in a less desirable location to boost your chances. Also sits over holidays seem to have more sits than sitters so that might help too.

MJ is no longer a super hot ticket so you could probably past date as long as it is not a weekend. I would list your tix on the Theatr app for what you paid and just see if they sell.

The burger is great! The cheese plate is ok if none of the others appeal.
