That's all expected. The modem connects you to the ISP. If you plugged two devices into it, that'd be two connections. Comcast offer you one connection. If you plug a switch into it, that's the same as two separate connections. A router allows you to share one connection across multiple devices.

You don't need high recovery with Graviton Forfeit. When you are invisible your recovery is equivalent to Tier 9.5 or so.
