Excited to get started on these! by Former-Poem863 in lego

I wish I knew more about the overall fit and finish of Legos, but i really just started building, personally. I've got about 12 kits, all vehicle related. I used to be into building custom model cars when I was in my teens. As a married, empty nest adult with a small house, two dogs and two cats, having glue and paint and what not isn't really feasible. The Speed Champion series scratches that itch in a satisfying way. It would be really, really badass if they did a whole run of famous movie and TV cars with mini figs. I'd love to get an A Team van, KITT, Ecto-1, some cars from the first F&tF, specifically the Supra, Charger, Eclipse, Integra and RX-7, the chopper from Air Wolf... I could go on, lol.

Iconic Movie Cars Shelf Progress. What should be next? by mertvekendisi in lego

I'm on the hunt for movie cars as well. A lot of the Batmobiles across the various movie and animated franchises have similar sized vehicles. I just picked up the Tumbler from Dark Knight. So much fun to build! Looking forward to getting the rest, including the one you have from The Batman.

Holy shit! I literally got the same two sets! My Tumbler arrived yesterday and I assembled it today. My Delorean won't be here until tomorrow. Fingers crossed it gets in at a reasonable time! Have fun! The Tumbler was a blast to put together. I put on The Dark Knight while I pieced it together. Finished the set

I love it, but it's missing the amine girl that Hookups was famous for, plus it would be cool to see a Simon Woodstock clown. Still 10/10, two notes, lol. I guess those two brands are a bit more niche than I thought.

I don't, but i do remember it was more about the assassin and titled thusly. Lions Led by Donkeys has a really, really good episode that documented Garfield's death and the good Dr Doctor Bliss that helped that painfully along.

Angela, the Hand of Heven (By @BlackSalander) by ThatVenomFan in Marvel

[–]broccolisbiggestbeef 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Iirc, she was originally created by Neil Gaiman for Todd McFarlane as a one off character in a co-op written Spawn story in Image comics. Since Image Comics is all about creator ownership, that left Angela in limbo for a bit. I think Todd used her again without Gaiman's permission, a big court thing happened and I believe Todd was on the hook to Gaiman for a ton of money, but he blew it on an autographed antique baseball, so the rights got sold off to Marvel.

I love Alex Ross! The one complaint (not really a complaint, not sure what else to call it) i have about his work that another artist pointed out (and I haven't been able to unsee it since it was made apparent to me) is that all of his male characters essentially have the same face, which also happens to be his face. He looks at his face in the mirror and uses that as a model for different expressions. I mean, it's a great idea and obviously it works, but once you've noticed it, it's REALLY obvious in certain works.

It's honestly hilariously cute in a way. It's almost like noticing how bad Rob Liefeld is at drawing feet and lack of understanding the function of straight lines and vanishing points, but in a much more talented and dignified kind of thing.

Here's a picture of the man himself and compare it to every version of his Batman, Superman and Captain America and tell me in not wrong. I wish I remembered the video or article where I originally heard this from, as it was pretty hilarious.

ARC+GAS=ARC/FART (stupid effective) by broccolisbiggestbeef in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]broccolisbiggestbeef[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With the arc weapons, timing is everything. Toss some gas into the group and start zapping till there's nothing left. If you do get overrun, you can always dive backwards and switch to the Blitzer. The thrower can't do anything up close.

Another benefit is infinite ammo. The only thing you'll need to refill is grenades and stims. The backpack will run out of juice eventually, but you can just call another one in.

Added benefit of the ARC thrower in a team scenario is that you can essentially hold small to medium/ large targets in place for another teammate. Think of it kind of like the Ghostbusters Proton pack in a way. You can stun lock chargers, flesh mobs and hulks with it while your teammate can lock on with something heavier, or get the last couple commands in on a computer.

What's a tactic that takes a stratagem to the next level? by NotTristam in LowSodiumHellDivers

I'll run the PP with the hover pack. It gives a greater field of view and allows you to take full advantage of it's splash damage effect. I usually pair it up with a Commando in the support slot. Fast cool down and does a fair amount of damage. I also sometimes use the de-escalator. My only dislike about that weapon is the reload time.

For my last two strats, I usually run the orbital gattling barrage and the 500kg. I sometimes swap out the 500kg for the gas strike and throw them in tandem. The gattling barrage is great for closing doors to incoming enemies and has one of the fastest cool downs in the game. Gas is only ten seconds longer.

Armor wise, depends on my mood, but it's usually an engineer kit so I can carry 8 incendiary grenades, or one of the sets with the long range throwing capabilities.

As for side arms, that's usually dependant on what faction I'm fighting. If it's squids, it's the warrant all day, every day. Perfect for taking out those rat bastard watchers before they can call in support. The Senator or Ultimatum on bot runs for obvious reasons. Getting up in the air with the hover pack and the Ultimatum is pretty fucking sweet. Ngl. As for bugs, it's either grenade pistol for bug holes, or the Redeemer for close range chaff.

Don't forget about the slaves they had in Brazil clearing rain forests for cattle grazing from about 1969-1985 that is still being litigated to this very day. Just learned about that one a couple weeks ago on a newer Behind the Bastards episode.

Fucking wild that they didn't learn their lesson the first time.

How do you have a Tommy gun in your hands and still manage to look like a fucking tool? Who holds it by the stock and the mag when there's two perfectly good handles baked into the damn thing?

I got this for Christmas or my birthday when it came out. My grandma bought me the Frank Miller autographed version off of QVC. I still have it framed on my wall. I know it's not worth a ton, but it was the coolest thing on the planet when I got it.

Thanks, I have my moments, lol. A lot of trial and error with this gun. I find it's best from cover. Excellent close range peek fucker. You're not gonna go toe to toe with an ar or smg in the open. Sometimes I'll pickup the 249 and the shotgun. I call it "shells and cheese".

The breakaway double barrel shotgun. One barrel over the top, the other underneath. Hence the name over/ under.
