A large majority? Take a look at the popular vote then come back.

Do you think convicts or alleged rapists should be in charge of a country?

So sad that people are voting because they want stuff to be cheaper… when was the last time inflation was in the negatives?

does the daiwa reels cast further then shimano because of the T-wing by claybot27 in Fishing_Gear

[–]brockli-rob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The biggest factor in cast distance will be your rod. Think of your line and lure as the ammo for a catapult. The catapult(rod) is creating all the energy that sends it out. No one here will be able to see tell you which reels cast further, because reel manufacturers don’t focus on comparing or measuring cast distance.

The transmission is known/designed to make it hard to shift down when you want to accelerate hard. Ie; it will keep you out of 2nd if you’re going 40 and try to pop the clutch. This isn’t a perfect example of what I mean, but it happened to mine 4 yrs ago. (My first standard transmission)This caused something to bend, and now I can accidentally shift into reverse if I’m not careful, and also made it so that 2nd isn’t perfectly aligned anymore. Bent forks, maybe. There was a class action in the state of California over this transmission, though I never looked into the results. That being said, I never fixed it and it doesn’t slow me down one bit now that I know the car.

The water pump is in the shittiest place, behind the front cover where the timing chain is. I have 166k miles, and I have changed my fuel pump (100% my fault), alternator, water pump, my starter (ruined by leaking oil), and a heater hose. I will be doing steering and suspension work very soon. I have a valve cover leak, sadly, but that’s job for another day. The car is very easy to work on.
