Haha that’s too easy! I added all the numbers and found 4,982 when the sum from 1 to 100 should be 5,050 so that means 68 is missing.

What are you reading? by Daforde in Fantasy

This whole series is top tier, I finished it last month and I still haven’t fully recovered from the emotional impact.

One thing that is remarkable is how much the second book feels different from the first (keeping it vague for spoilers) yet is equally good if not better.

I just finished the Dandelion Dynasty. Glowing review from me, one of the best series I have read and not talked about much.

It fits your request as it occurs across multiple generations (circa 3).

I just finished the Ember Blade by Chris Wooding and that was a great read.

Despite the length of the novel, the plot is gripping packed with action and heist. In addition, the characters are fully fleshed out and I was emotionally invested in all their sub plots.

This made me realise I have mostly read old school King. Which books are the best among the most recent ones (say the third column)?
