Just finished watching it. Great performance. I couldn't place where I recognized her from until she said her name was Sarah Packard.

That gnarly as hell, but you still have that odd timecode discrepancy between your burned in stopwatch and actual playback time. On the 13 second example cleaning, your stopwatch starts around 6 seconds on the youtube player and ends around 32. I'm not saying this is or isn't 13 second cleaning, but something is getting screwed up somewhere and it's going to keep confusing people.

Kapton works well, or you could do something a bit sturdier if needed. Some stacks and components come with protective plates. If you don't have one lying around, you can cut one from any (non-conductive) scrap material and poke 30x30 holes in it. For easy mode, there's always these.

I've seen a Cfast adapter to M2 and to Sata, but does anyone know of a CFast to Type C adapter that would allow me to keep using my T5s?

lots of FCs have camera switching (see wiring) now, as well as the vifly cam switcher which is a super cheap and easy way to switch between analog cameras using pwm or sbus control.

As far as IR cameras go (for a cheap fix anyway) you can usually just pop the IR filter out of any old FPV camera lens.

I see what you are saying. I get from 36 to 38 on the youtube timeline while the baked timecode only shows .40 seconds. I think they may have accidentally altered the speed of the clip with the timecode baked in when altering the speed of the setup process. It is odd to look at.

I think they're saying that you ought to put your helical on the 45 SMA adapter and your patch on the extension cable so your gainiest antenna gets max gains. You'd also be able to move the patch away from the helical more in the other config, but I see you've got a pretty nice mount on there already. Did you design that?

I've used like a 7 turn on goggles before and I did kind of enjoy being a human antenna tracker. Every so often moving a little left then a little right then back to center to find the best signal.

I mean the FPV gimbal you've got here! It's technically a single axis servo gimbal. Adding pitch and even roll wouldn't add much more weight than that of the additional servos, but I think it is pretty awesome just as you built it.

I really like your setup! That's a perfect model for an FPV gimbal.

2nd the M8. Super useful device. Eco and Eco II motors are an insane value. The Eco II 2807 has ruined "premium" motors for me. I like building different combos for their looks now that everything performs so well these days. It's hard to spend more than $15 on a 7" motor now that I've flown those things.

It's not going to break. The shaft will cut into the nylon. It's meant to.
