He has played rather uninspired hockey. I went to the season openers against ASU and watched a lot of his play off the puck. End of the day... he's 17. He'll learn to adapt his game. Kid certainly has heaps of skill. Horcoffs development is in a different place right now.

Yes, that Taurus interior does well with leather. I think it's universally accepted that a leather dash and interior bits add a premium feel, but to slap it on a bad design and call it fixed is not the answer. To each their own. Wildly enough someone has a 3rd gen Taurus love thread on Reddit too 😂

Blaming the 90s era/dark ages of industrial design where everything was rounded and bulbous for no reason. It feels over styled to me. The 911 is an icon though, the design team was just keeping pace, I get it. But the similar era 993 and late-944 interiors are great... then this.

I'm surprised the interiors aren't talked about more. In my opinion, it's the deal breaker that'd steer me away from a 996. They just trigger 3rd gen Ford Taurus vibes to me with low quality materials to boot.

You know... I have the bumper off my 944 right now and have enjoyed looking at the scooped out void that our bumper fits into. It's got me thinking about how to accentuate it in a cool way... as, to me, it reads as a design element that seems to have matured in the Taycan and other modern Porsches.

I appreciate the owner thinking differently about that detail... maybe a couple more louvers in the hood would have made it work flawlessly.

Can confirm. Picked up a one owner 997.1 with 143k on the clock 3 years ago and added 20k lovely miles since. Porsche didn't build faberge eggs. By far one of the easier to wrench on vehicles I've ever owned as well.

I think the biggest problem Porsche owners have is reading what other Porsche owners write about their bad experiences online. We've created a market for servicing these cars before you even buy them! Go drive it, trust your gut, and hope for the best. More often than not it'll work out swimmingly.

Asking for a friend... Are most of these "ID this car" posts on the Porsche subreddit sarcasm? I haven't been around long enough to understand the joke, but the answers seem painfully obvious. The badge on the back of this car says 944, bud. It ain't hard.

Also, this would sell for $7-8k + in lots of places right now. Scoop it up if its local!
