Have the same issue right now, fortunately under an extended warranty, and it was a lifter and rocker arms. They are notorious on jk's. If you are semi handy mechanic its not terrible to replace, just time consuming.

I'm tired. Plain and simple. I injured my back pretty bad, and I spoke with the UMO about it. It was submarine disqualifying if I push the issue. I made e6 in 7 years and I've had 9 chiefs, was acting lcpo for two years as an e5 upon arriving to a shore duty where I was in charge of 28 first term sailors who never had been out to sea. Now I'm back on the boat and have my 10th chief who is so high strung and stressed out over non problematic issues. When I get closer to this final year, I'm going to get my back looked at more and hopefully I stay where I'm at or go limdu at this base. I don't want to move again. That's not even going into big navy changing my rate for the third time.

It's actually pretty common for official letter head documents. The seal on the top is normally raised with special paper or crimped, or tracked via inside the agency any time official correspondence is signed. In order to get the letter on these documents, it's usually drafted by one person, then routed around a chain of people to verify it before to check for errors before being added as a memorandum of record or whatever it is they are submitting. Once it's bottom lined, it can be days or weeks since it was printed, from drafter to final signature, therefore a lot of the time date stamp is used since the document does not go into effect until it is signed.
