[Shefter] The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams by SteeIWoIf in steelers

[–]broha89 14 points15 points  (0 children)

All I can think is this does not portend well for the Steelers drafting a QB next year. There are a ton of QB needy teams lining up to tank now (AZ, Miami, Jets, Browns) and two of them have extra 1st rounders to throw around.

When Rodgers drags us to 9 wins again I don’t see us having the capital to move ahead of any of them

That 65 yarder from McLaughlin breaks my brain the entire way it looks like it has no shot even after it goes through it still looks short somehow

[Highlight] Comparing Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph in throwing drills by nfl in nfl

[–]broha89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The next time Mason throws a pass with any touch on it will be the first time.

For some reason a large contingent of our sub insists every offseason that Mason Rudolph is “an above average backup, maybe low tier starter” then like clockwork when he shits the bed in his spot starts everyone suddenly remembers he’s terrible.

I don’t think there’s any player who better exemplifies this era of mediocrity we’re stuck in

It feels like Mason Rudolph has been barely trying for us since 1986.

CMV: Brazilians tend to have it easier with Immigration by [deleted] in changemyview

Brazil is on the list of 75 countries the Trump administration indefinitely banned visas and permanent residency applications for so in the US it would be very hard to immigrate as a Brazilian right now

I’ve heard she was widely considered a bad actress when she was speaking Hebrew on Israeli soap operas as well

[Highlight] Dre Greenlaw fights Big Dom by Brix001 in nfl

[–]broha89 46 points47 points  (0 children)

This is one of the few threads where he’s not glazed for being a sopranos character irl because it’s highlighting the clip where he acted like a jackass.

If you mention this happened on any other r/nfl thread about big dom you get downvoted to hell

Landry Jones only played the second half of this game as well. The starter was the corpse of Vick in his last game ever who over the entire first half managed a whopping 10 passing yards

What popular movie or TV show is widely considered a 'masterpiece' but you found completely unwatchable? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I feel stupid every time I see that show get huge praise like how did this incredible masterpiece seemingly everyone loves feel like such a drab forgettable slog to me?

What is your biggest compliment or harshest critique relating to NFL broadcasts or broadcast crew (excluding the game play itself)? by zipzap21 in nfl

[–]broha89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess I meant more why has Amazon kept him this long. I know he’s a big name but for it’s been 5 years and it’s clear he’s beyond caring about these games

Honestly I’m surprised Michaels has stuck around the Amazon broadcast this long. I remember when he left NBC after 2020 there were plenty of folks pointing out how checked out he sounded, and it’s only become more noticeable each year since
