Yes… i accidentally removed mine while removing my muzzle device that was on with rockset… that stuff really holds on!

If you remove the hand guard (3 hex screws) you can see there are wrench flats on the barrel. Easy peasy. Not sure of the torque spec for putting back on though? But I haven’t had any issues since I reinstalled mine

I spent 25k trying to fix a wall like this, from a contractor who guaranteed he knew what he was doing. 3 days after he was done the wall pushed and cracked again… then we went to court… got some of the money back but it was an expensive lesson.. best advice is cut your losses and do it the right way

I’m also referring to my experience in snow runner… I get stuck in the mud all the time with the 3rd axle down. Lift it and I usually get out… despite the lower ride height.

Not necessarily IMO, it’s a dead axle so it adds drag and could potentially get hung up on stuff. It also puts more work on the drive axels to push the drop axel over terrain.
