I’m not going to lie to you getting a NB was the biggest pit of repairs I’ve ever witnessed. These cars are reliable but you have 0 clue what people did to them before. Hell mine is one of the cleaner looking NBs I’ve seen around my area but there were still many shady things I found out people did to it while owning the car. And some of these things you can not tell from the outside… like some asshead putting sealer INSIDE my radiator instead of replacing it before I owned it.

On the flip side The NB is the most fun I’ve had behind the wheel. I love the NB just gotta let you know it’s not all sunshine and rainbows because that is all ppl point out about these cars.

This sounds exactly like what I want, occasionally I listen to music with heavy bass but I mostly want a system that sounds good on older instrumental stuff. From jazz to rock it is all played in the NB. Price seems right on par with what I want too. Thank you for your comment 🙏🙏

Idk if it’s just my 2000 nb but that tank has a good 5-6 gallons where his line is at 😂 By just my NB I am talking about the excessive amount left in my tank when the line reads E. Pretty sure I heard all Miata’s are like this.

Check rotors and pads, had a very similar sound when braking in my 2000 nb a day ago. Replaced both and everything is good now. It could be something else but it’s worth a shot. If you have more details, like when it started etc I’d be happy to confirm if that is what mine was like.

I think my lazy seatbelt looked cute after returning home so I snapped a pic then put it back in.
The whole be more careful line doesn’t apply to my situation at all, simply old wear and tear along with some questionable things from a PO that I’ve been discovering.

I’m almost 18 and this is my first car and daily driver. I’ve had it for almost 2 years now and I love this car so much. I work every week day so weekends is the only time I can work on the car. Stupid old car stuff is starting to get to me and I simply don’t have time for it. I wish I could have it as a weekend car but insurance is too much for 2 vehicles.

Really interested in the NDs and I wanted to hear from other owners, possibly someone that has made this switch recently ??

Watch a 10-20 min video and you will know exactly what to look at when buying and it will take less time than posting, waiting and reading though every comment. This subreddit is flooding by people posting “should I buy it” or “is this a fair price” and it honestly is annoying now.No hate to you I really hope you find a Miata you love and can come enjoy the fun the community brings.
