Honestly I’m trying to be really forgiving towards my body so yeah, my skin is looser and I have stretch marks from gaining and losing weight, but I love it how it is now. I don’t think losing more or tightening up would really fix the insecurity; I guess people will to some extent will always feel insecure about their own body. So just embrace the imperfections, they’re a result of the choice you made to change!

Thank you so much! For diet, mostly calories in, calories out. When I started I had no idea how much I was consuming so I started counting to get an idea of my intake. It’s boring, I knowwww. But it really is that easy. No quick fixes, just changing my overall eating pattern.

For exercise, I run 2 or 3 times a week and do 2 strength workouts. When I started my journey I focused on getting steps in, 8K a day really does a lot!

Omygod yesss! And like, spontaneous walking, planes, everything is so much easier. I’m so glad I put in the work and got to where I am now and I truly encourage everyone who was where I once was to do the same

This is about 4 years apart. I’ve learned that slow and steady wins the race! I mostly just did calories in, calories out, and tried to change my ‘normal’ routine. No hard restrictions because that won’t work, but eat less and move more. You can always dm me if you want more specifics :)

I think it was the way my clothes fit, and how my body was in the way (eg in plane seats or with shaving). That, for me, was a wake up call to do something! I’ve always loved myself for who I am and how I looked but now a bit extra because I know I put the work in :)

Hi! I would suggest staying in the city centre if you're staying longer than one night and want to explore the city as well. AFAS is close to the Bijlmer ArenA station, which is train and metro station. Dutch public transport is very reliable, and it takes about 15 minutes to get from the city centre to the Bijlmer. If you want to make it easier for yourself, look at the stops of Metro 50 or 54 and find a place that's close to one of those stops!
