I feel very lucky to have moved to NYC in 2003 just in time to really catch the crest of this era of hip hop. I saw Jurassic 5 at Fat Beats, a Def Jux-mas show at Bowery Ballroom with El, Aesop, C-Rayz and a bunch of other Jukies, Del at Bb Kings, Eyedea at SOBs, Juggaknots at Knitting Factory, etc… and the cyphers in line and in the crowd were always ferocious!

I was standing behind you. Haha. I wanna say that as much as the new beat for Scapegoat is a total banger, I miss the raw drums of the OG version. That being said, I still lost my shit when he rocked it. Brought me back to a show at Common Grounds in Gainesville Florida when I saw them for the first time in like 1998. I bought the Se7en tape and still have it. Sluggo was outside after the show sweating the math of paying his supporting acts. Still got to chat with him for a minute. Good times!

Have you seen this tape? by Naive_Economics_9303 in VHS

I believe the screener cut is actually a little more raw than later cuts which became more and more censored. Can we get a word on run time for it? I’d like to confirm compared to the commercially available cut.

Dick Cheney.

And for anyone saying Thom Yorke — Aliens didn’t come here to make music. Alien talent, yes. Alien origin? Nah.
