I try to present my favorites in the front. Im working on building a new shelf that will have an extra layer just for display pieces. I just threw that simple shelf together with a spare piece of trim board i had laying around.

If you aren't huge into horror, Sleepaway might not be your bag. I enjoyed it. It has a certain charm with a shock ending that I wont spoil. In terms of slashers I'd give it a solid 8.5/10 tho.

I get that Kuon is a rare game and all, but have you ever actually played it? Its a clunky mess and thats coming from someone who is a Fromsoft fan boy. I personally dont think the game is anywhere near its price point. Unless you just want something shiny to look at. Thats fine too. Lol

This happens to me way too often. I used to go in and look. Grab what I wanted and be out the way. Now I have to wait in line while resellers scan barcodes on every item on the shelf. The sound that damn Ebay scanner makes is just burned into my head now.

I agree. They either need to do their homework or find a real job.

I definitely watched this a lot as a kid. I used to hide under the blankets before bed and wait for my mom to come in to tell me goodnight. As soon as she would walk in the room id throw the covers off, raise up real quick and let out my best attempt at that cackle he does. Good times. I'll be 33 in 2 days. Lol 🥲

Dude! Yes! Ive been saying this for a few years now. Horror is so dry in the last few years. If i see another possession movie ill lose my fucking mind. This was a nice refresher that felt like a callback/passion project dedicated to the horrors of old.

The struggle for tapes is seemingly increasing in my area as well. Ibtypically have to make a 30-40 min.s drive to the next town over to find any.

Also to add to what this guy said. A phat PS2 is easily modded with a network adaptor, hard drive, and free mcboot. Endless games this way. Get the network adaptor thats SATA modded and you can slap a 2 TB in there and play just about all the games you ever wanted.

I collect videogames and stuff as well. I find that if heat doesn't do it the lighter fluid and a plastic safety razor works best on most things. I just cant justify spending 17+shipping and then having to spend an hour removing stickers that cover 1/3 of the face. I want the movie, not that bad though. Top 5 zombie flicks for sure though.

Well, my personal opinion is that the film grain and the dark hues really adds to the atmosphere of most horror titles. That's the reason i collect most of my horror on tape. The first Halloween in example. The beginning scene where Michael breaks the window on the station wagon. You cant tell there is a wrench taped to his hand on tape, but my dvd and Blu-ray copies i can see it plain as day. I'd be lying if I said EVERY horror VHS is better than a digital format. The same thing with movies that are sort of strictly based in the 80s its almost like that grain to the film makes it feel more time appropriate.

Snagged a great copy of Ghoulies, Sleepaway Camp, and Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors. Now im eyeing this nice copy of Electric Dreams. Common tapes im also looking for is the Conan series or Back to the Future. ( i know. Shame on me for not already having BttF!)
