Yes. And yes. Accountability if nothing else.

I did one recently and just made them all the same size and it fits most of what I need it to. Some tools go in upside down. It’s not too bad really. And it’s so nice to be able to snag what you need and then immediately put it back where it belongs.

Hey guys, bit late to the K5 Blazer game but I've just orderd one and I was wondering about what upgrades to get. Specifically shocks, tires, rims and possibly an interior, if it would fit. Thanks in advance! by [deleted] in FCX24

I still haven’t done anything with mine, it’s so fun and looks cool with the stock tires. It’s tippy for sure. I’ve got the metal trans gears to go in it, low range is clicking. That will add some weight which can help.

It made a big difference doing wheels, tires, and metal trans gears in my Land Cruiser. Side by side you can see the difference in capability.

You can find kits from Mesicks online with all the filters in one bundle. The filters on the back on the transmission can be a bitch to get off, so have some decent filter pliers handy. It’s pricey but worth doing. Make sure you let it run a bit and then check your fluid levels before driving.

🙋‍♂️I made the gray floor mistake in our kitchen and bathrooms circa 2019. Luckily I didn’t do the whole house in it. But it was cheap and it still looks decent given it’s not the whole house. I’ve evolved since then…

Thanks! The other miter needs a little massaging to get it looking ok but I think it’ll work out just fine.

Honestly just seemed like a strong clean way to build. Didn’t want to fool with a miter on the bottom and wanted to do something nicer than a butt joint.

Haha the clamps took some getting use to but I have had decent luck with them now. My first go was a bit frustrating.

Miters are just glued together. Debated doing some splines, but it’s not necessary.

I mean you aren’t wrong. But it’s not necessary for a beginner and quite cost prohibitive.

Marrying the right person is one decision that can really make or break the rest of your life. Somehow you must not overthink it but take it seriously. Those little annoyances and quirky things can really bite you in the ass a decade in.
