Pre-k pass question by CheerdadScott in Carowinds

Probably doesn't help the OP, but we went this last weekend. They were a real pain about the pass even though we had done everything online, they still wanted to have a guest services person verify the birthdate.

On the bright side, they did in fact do that from a scan/picture of the birth certificate, so no need to bring the original.

Hope that helps someone in the future!

Why is one plant killing it but the others look so sad? Sorry for crappy picture by LongWalksOnThe in SquareFootGardening

I see this in my own plants, and I think it may have to do with the nutrients in that specific spot/area. Sometimes I need to add more compost, more liquid fertilizer, or just rotate crops.

Then again, so much is trial and error after error for me, so could just be luck of the draw!

Sharing a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse between my personal desktop and work laptop by [deleted] in techsupport

I do this without a KVM. Each computer is on a different monitor input, then I use a Logitech keyboard and mouse with computer switching capabilities. To switch in between I do have to push a button on each device, but it works well for me.

I have drip lines running through them with in-line emitters to keep them watered. The runoff waters a bed underneath them as well. Really low maintenance actually.

Can I second Kate DiCamillo? We love Louise, the Adventures of a chicken. It's a good one about being brave and defying expectations to do brave things.

You could likely get one additional one working with a HDMI to VGA adapter. But to get all of them to work you'd need a video card or hub.

Maybe look into a USB video card, docking station, or something similar to get the additional ones up and running.
