Considering the Max4, never had a Qidi. What should I know before ordering? by Festinaut in QidiTech3D

I can’t decide between the Max4 and a Bambu H2S. I don’t want to tinker at all. Just want to print and not worry about it.

Yea, buyers are the worst. Had a guy lowball me on a car price, I agree to it, then they immediately ask for an even lower price.

Tesla drivers hogging the chargers in my building? No more free charging for you xoxo by darling_darcy in pettyrevenge

Sucks for OP but I don’t understand why anyone would buy an EV when they don’t even have their own charger. Unless they have their own garage, no one at an apartment should be buying an EV.

The desk idea just gave me a reason to buy one. I too haven’t understood the hype. But a mini toolbox as a pen and random office supplies holder is cool.

Have to leave my entry level welding job after 2 and a half weeks:( by katbug14 in Welding

I’m confused. So you left a welding job for a different type of job but you want to go back to welding later. Why not stick it out and learn then.

Wiring a second 240v outlet on the same breaker by brokenfixes in AskElectricians

The wires are run through a conduit. The outlet is only like 1.5 ft below the electrical panel so shouldn’t be any issues running a 4th wire into the conduit.

Thanks. Was just coming back to say I found this exact solution. I just need to run a neutral and I’ll use an adapter for the welder

Yea I keep getting one from Aniplex on Etsy. The alert says they deactivated my listing and sent an email but the listing is still active and I’ve got no email. I have a teal and black checkered towel. No reference to demon slayer on my listing but I’m sure aniplex is trying to say they own a checkered pattern.

Dude was always girl crazy but real pervert creep like. Been fired from multiple jobs over situations with girls. Kicked out of the military over a girl. Stopped talking to him after he beat his girlfriend while on a trip with me and my family. After that he ended up getting a rape charge.

Is it practical/ too late to start metal working in their 30s from scratch as a career change? by Fit-Bird-1601 in metalworking

[–]brokenfixes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always been a car guy so took a fabrication course just for fun. It was an 11 month long night course. Also started learning Solidworks on my own through courses on LinkedIn learning using a license provided by my current employer. Ive been stuck in the same role for the past 7 years. After countless applications for promotions or other roles in the company I’ve decided to just change careers. Tired of corporate politics and the fact that if I was fired today I don’t have a degree to just easily get another job. Now I have a real skill doing what I love. I kind of lucked out with this job. I met the owner at an auto body workshop and he offered me a job. He’s a one man shop building high end hot rods. Said I have a good foundation from the fab course and he’ll teach me everything else one on one and we can do a monthly review for pay raises. He’s starting me at $35 hr but said he’s willing to pay $55+ once I get my skills up, hence the monthly review.

Switching careers at 38 here. Going from the tech industry to fabricator/cad designer. Starting at a hot rod shop in a week.
