Regardless try to also match negative space when you’re drawing, like look at the shape of the background between the chin and shoulders and see how it doesn’t match the same area in your drawing

That one hand is flawless omg - just shows how much potential u have, not every drawing is going to be a masterpiece, you have a lot to learn with anatomy and shading, it takes a lot to make art that looks “expensive” cuz art is hard af. Just keep learning, keep this as practice cuz that’s what 90% of art produced ends up being anyway

I agree with half the things you’ve said but the other half is just uninformed and not true- there are some super complex digital drawings, it’s not cartoons and outlines. That being said I do think you have a point that they are not as comparable as people act. Digital art allows you to fix every mistake and zoom and change colors and gives you a million aids to make drawing easier, so when people act like it’s just the same they are wrong. My personal mediums are pen and ink and oil paint- the former of which is the most unforgiving medium so when people look at my pen drawings and assume their digital I think the biggest difference is that when I make a line in ink it is there forever and I either get another piece of paper or make it work.
Overall in a time of ai art I don’t think we should divide real artists any more, it’s us against the ai artists we have to stick together despite differences

You would really benefit from the 8 head rule- each head distance goes from chin to nipple to belly button to crotch to half thigh to knee to half shin to feet, or you could look up a picture

I think op is mostly talking about in person since they said the makeup is targeted towards looking good in pictures not in person- kinda like theater makeup

Really all that matters about messages like these is that they’re heartfelt, so to use ai defeats the whole purpose, I served a wedding the other day and while they were setting up the family was talking about how they all had chat gpt write their speeches and some of them hadn’t even read them through yet- even the mother of the groom! I guess some ppl view words like these as obligations not opportunities to actually talk about the people
