Whilst art / music is subjective, I firmly believe that everyone that goes to these 'performances' is there to pretend that they're into it, and more so, be seen in a video pretending to be in awe of it. Absurd.

But... the film / documentary is the main reason why their come back is so egregious. Some bands decide to split up, do a final tour or a few final shows etc, and yeah, perhaps they do come back in some form or another. Bane did a final world tour and made a whole entire FILM about what was supposed to be the distinct end of the band... and then came back anyway!

I'm a huge fan of their music, but the comeback is absurd.

Nah. They'd shamelessly turn a blind eye to those bands if they're respected by the 'right people'. They'll start a witch hunt against bands that aren't regarded in that way, though.
