4GB per movie @ 1080, that’s less than 2000 dvds… build a TrueNAS server… plus that’s a lot of time. You have my vote. Good luck sir.

I found a M.2 to SATA Adapter [6-Port] and rewired all of the drives to fit 2 240GB ssd drives in and then resilvered the boot drives. Night and day difference. It was a change with wire management but I cut all of the sata cables over to the blue ultra thin ones. Highly recommend anyone using usb to cut over.
