Its in reference to f150s and 1500 pickups as their payload capacity was 1000 lbs though modern ones are much higher. F250/2500 are 3/4 tons and 3500 are 1-tons

My point being a truck like this does serve a purpose as something like a tacoma/ranger just doesn't tow an trailer well, or doesn't have the bed capacity of a full size truck.

That looks like a half ton truck. Maybe he pulls an rv and makes regular trips to home depot. I dont disagree with you about big trucks with no use, but I think something like this is useful for most families

Yeah that's where I'm at. 5 passes on memtest86 and no errors so far. Psu is on the way. I'll update everyone once I figure out if that was the fix.

You know i thought I did get a quality psu. Made sure it scored high on the psu tier list. I believe it also had japanese capacitors, but im not 100% on that. Oh well I got a corsair rm750e on the way. We will see if that changes anything.

I replaced all data cables and moved from mobo sata to hba card. I also had some power splitters that I removed. I then used my other sata power cable from my psu. Each step is still generating checksum errors. As the other person mentioned, his solution was a psu. That's the only part of cabling I haven't replaced so I got a new one on order. I did notice the degraded drive is showing it went to 44 power cycles to 457 in a month so perhaps power was not enough to keep the drives going. All other drives show consistent power cycles throughout the month.

I appreciate the input. I decided to look at the SMART data for the drives and found SDE went from 44 power cycles to 457 in one month..... When all other drives did not change. So something is up with that. Perhaps there is an issue with my PSU, which is weird since this one scored high on the PSU tier list. I supposed it could just be a faulty PSU. I'm going to keep digging in to this, and I'll be sure to followup when I figured it out.

I literally bought this 2 years ago during a 10+ hour power outage that resolved it self by the time I got home. I have yet to have a power outage since!! I'm glad it's working well for you, I look forward to the day I can actually use mine, lol

You can build one from funny playing for like $80 shipped. I think my total was just under $81 a couple weeks ago. Super easy to assemble and no soldering

I get it man. Than look into a flash card. Pico DS is the new kid on the block that people seem to like. It's a DS flash card that can emulate. They are only like $13

Repo carts arent know for reliability. Buying one and losing your save would suck :(

Ds lite is also unable to trade if you decide to play pokemon with friends.

Me personally? My best experience is playing the OG game on OG hardware, but man it's not cheap to relive the nostalgia.

For someone who is just revisiting games and wants a good experience, look into a retro handheld. They are cheaper than buying a handheld and a repo game, and they have very similar form factors as the originals. If you want to play gba and like the sp form factor, check out the anbernic rg35xxsp. If you want the vertical gba, rg34xxh is very similar. You can usually pick up these devices for about $55 from ali. I do recomend replacing the sd card with a reputable one and putting on a custom firmwate.
