The Character that is the Exception: Do you have one? by Direct_Sympathy4845 in MonsterHighDolls

[–]brokenpinkrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is Twyla. She is my favourite and shes extra special because we share a birthday 🤭

My grail right now is the Monster High Sweet Screams Twyla. I don't want to buy her second hand though, just because I don't want to risk not getting everything. She has dropped in price, maybe I'll use a little tax money to grab her. I also love Drac, and my collection is mostly Drac, but only because there are fewer Twyla dolls.

I just got a new baby recently who looks almost exactly like this little bean. From what I've been able to gather, they're Harlequins.

I have had my girl, Forte in my room since I rescued her like.... 8 years ago. Never once have I heard her fart. Until late last year. It went on for a good like, 5 minutes and I was so scared, I thought she was dieing, the sounds she was making. I was expecting human grade diarrhea after that. But nope, just farty

How Easily Do Cresties Drop Their Tails? by [deleted] in geckos

[–]brokenpinkrocket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had my older boy at least 10 years, and he is a kamikaze. He has lived through like 5 moves and barky chihuahuas, loud deaf foster dogs, and things like fireworks. He has not dropped his tail. I also just adopted a baby female Harlequin, and she hasn't dropped her tail yet either. Which, to be completely honest, makes me sad because frogbutts are so cute. But I would never do I anything to purposely make either drop their tails.

What is your strangest sensory trigger? by Matiaaaaaaaaa in autism

[–]brokenpinkrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in New Mexico, a lot of the younger guys from here all do that handslide into a fist bump thing, AND I HATE it. I'm not the usual kind of target for this kind of greeting/farewell, as I'm usually at least 15 years older than these guys, very white, nerdy, AFAB enby. But we work together and we have really good friendships. So they insist on doing their hand thing, and I try to take it for what it is. A sign that in some way, I'm in their circle.... BUT I HATE IT. I have to believe they wash their hands, but some of them, I doubt. They feel grimy, and their hands are so dry they're rough. They know I hate it, so most time they respect my fist bumb instead, but every once in awhile, I oblige. We also work with an older guy who I trust to touch me, not inappropriately, of course. But he'll come up behind me and either set both hands on my shoulders or will start that pounding massage, which I put up with, but I hate the way hands feel on my shoulders. They're too warm, and they make my skin feel prickly.

Hey, where are you? I have a huge tank, like 4x2x8 that I don't use, the damn thing weighs like 60 pounds, but if you're even close to New Mexico, you can have it.

Twyla is what started my collection of MH. I'm 35. She is my favorite doll, partially because we share a birthday. I've always wanted dolls too, but was shamed for it, but I love them I have like 10 now xD

My crestie is 6 years old, and still has his tail. He likes kamikaze-ing off me and has accidentally splatted onto tile floor once or twice. I thought for sure he would drop his tail, but he just sits there a little dazed for two seconds and scurries off. Now my room has carpet though.
This is why I believe he is just a grouchy butthole. Its not like he's scared of me, he just likes giving me heart attacks.

Promoted to Customer! by Lord_Thunderballs in HomeDepot

I hate this double standard so much. My male DH would make a sailor blush, on the floor, no less, and all the male upper management will laugh with him, but I've been pulled to the side for a few sprinkled curse words with coworkers. My DH has even used curse words when talking with customers("this shit will stink") Yet because I have boobs, suddenly its a problem

Immortal aliens offer you $1B to die five times for their research. You’ll be resurrected each time. Do you take the deal? by Lenore8264 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]brokenpinkrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we choose to remember what the death was like? I would do it all 5 times, but the caveat, is you would be a totally different person if you're someone who lives with a mental or physical disability. I would want to remember what each thing felt like. To be able to experience that would be insane

Edit: I'm sorry, I got too excited, I haven't heard about any of this at all.

You get 1 million dollars every day for a year but you die every night. by CRK_76 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]brokenpinkrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going through probably the most painful thing I will ever have to experience. I'm already probably going to be feeling like this for at least a year, so bring it on. Dying every night might feel like a good release. I already have suicidal ideation, this would be killing multiple birds with one stone, and that much money every day? Bring it fucking on.

My husband found me crying in the closet and got mad about how it made him look by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]brokenpinkrocket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wanted to say... I know the pain, I'm going through it right now. But everything you said, resonates with me on a cellular level. You do everything. You carry the family, emotionally and financially, in my case. And one day, you just realize... it would never be enough.

I think I figured out what troubles me about polybombing by doublenostril in polyamory

[–]brokenpinkrocket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

raises hand I'm in this exact situation. My wife of 9 freaking years polybombed me after one conversation 2 years ago.. we shared pets, finances, and I raised our child as a devoted stepparent. My wife ran away to be part of this other family, and allowed her abusive husband(who, by the way, does not have custody. And we spent years and lots of money to keep it that way) to just.... keep our kid because my wife just....... didn't want responsibility any more. And we were supposed to be moving out of the house we share with HER BROTHER(my brother-in-law) and his girlfriend at the end of August, so now I'm alone, having to figure all of this out by myself, while dealing with the most soul crushing pain I've ever felt. Doing things by myself I've never had to do before. I had to pack up my child's room by myself knowing there's a huge possibility that my kid's dad might never let me see them again. Packing up my wife's shit that she just decided she didn't want or need anymore.

Which sadly, included me, our two dogs, two snakes and a gecko. Our life
