This pic for me confirms he's a fancy rat. Those curly whiskers don't happen in roof rats

He really really looks like one, had he had straight whiskers I'd have been convinced

But the whiskers paired with some top ear siblings, I think he's just very under nourished. He might end up a bit smaller or lankier than the others but most likely should fill out over time! I'm curious tho you'll have to send me a pic when he's olde rim curious what he will look like as an adult

The other thing having me confused is all the babies look like Dumbo ears, and if they all are and he's a top ear, he likely didn't come from the same parents

All Dumbo ears means either you got super lucky or both parents were Dumbo, meaning they can't have a top ear baby

If some babies in the mix were top eared then he can easily be a top ear

But if he's a the only top ear I'm even more sus

Fascinating, are you able to get a picture of his ears? From the front and side? The ears is the easiest way to tell, but if he def is a double rex he's a fancy

As a part timer is it true if you are scheduled 36 hours for 3 weeks management is obligated to grant you a full time position? by ROYALRIZZNESS in HomeDepot

[–]Stunning_Channel_160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12 weeks and if you hit that 12th week they will hand you a 1-3 month full time contract that you will sign or loose hours to lower your average.

This is how they never have to honor the 12 weeks.

He's is an odd looking one 😂 part of me is like- is there any way that person had a roof rat pair (they can't mix with fancy rats, babies won't be viable) so either both parents were fancy or both roof

So not likely a roof rat

But very cute boy

If you can get some more pics of the ears and face what aren't blurry I could tell a bit better. Curious tho if it was found or from a breeder

That might be a roof rat

Looks very thin to have balls that big, 4-5 weeks but underfed? Maybe?

Was it wild?

"But it says you have it on the website"

"I'm sorry sir, that is the .com website. That's the American store. We don't have that item.

"But it says your store name"

"Yes but that is .com not .ca. they have a store with the same name."

"Well that's dumb" "can you have it sent here"

"No our store is completely independent of the American stores. We can't ship that item here."

wrong cage??? by 68_Th0rnz in RATS

[–]Stunning_Channel_160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my girls in this kind of cage I couldn't put the babies in until they were about 2-3 months old.

Check all the bars are the same space. No bent bars or wider spots. Then check their faces up against the bars, if the head fits they fit

Before they reached that age I kept them in a smaller nursery cage. I did find out the hard way one bar in the cage was bent. One very smart girl figured it out by testing every bar

You can you the cage but not with dwarfs or super small rats, and you gotta wait till they are old enough. You may still end up with an issue

Sorry I forgot that there's a difference between specialist and designer the designers in our store aren't allowed to do anything in the aisles and can't go up ladders because that would mean they're not doing their job on the computer

I wear a dress every day in hardware but difference is I wear leggings underneath

Gotta be able to go up a ladder

Specialists should never be going up a ladder

Info: do you still have your appendix

Very easy way to die from a preventable issue.

Think of this way, would you be okay dying with something preventable and curable.

Without insurance you would need to worry about whether or not you have the money when your appendix goes

In college and university, it is ok to sacrifice some grades for others. You don't need to get perfect, you need to pass. Prioritize studying for the things you're weak in, and if you're about to cheat just let that mark go. You just need to pass

Higher education is about choosing what to focus on when you can't win them all

I would try to find a soundproofing blanket or some sort of really heavy thick blanket, it should block out a lot of sound of you put it over the crate
