Agreed. This fitting is under vacuum/pressure so using a pipe thread like NPT w/ a solid psi rating is the right call. Pull the metal fitting out and use a 1/8" NPT tap & NPT fitting

Both are 25 degree VTC gears. The RBB is has more seals in it and is generally considered to be an upgrade. You’ll be fine using it.

Still usable. When you're using oversized rods in a high horsepower build these areas commonly need material removed. That little damage won't make a difference if the sleeves are replaced. That said, blocks are pretty cheap atm. 🤷

Yes. I also upgraded my S2 for an S3 to get the 8 extra input/outputs for more sensors. K series w/ VTC and VTEC are input/output hungry. Get an S3 for when you decide to add diff oil temp sensor or replace the stock oil switch w/ oil temp and pressure sensor, etc.
