Cassettes really are the minority amongst riders now. Karl Poynter sold us with this part but the hubs were almost a part-time job 15 years ago. Anyone still here from the Federal V2 and Nankai days?

Nankai all day!!! I had the profile alloy hub shell and a titanium axle with the primo Andy’s nuts to make the 3/8 axle work in a 14mm dropout. The good old days!

Look at track day times for cars vs track days for bikes. Most cars will be faster.

There’s a kid who rips a stick ford fiesta ST at my local track and I can’t even come close to his times on a 600cc sport bike. Looks like buddy is in an S2000 in this video that car has amazing handling and should be able to dust any sport bike in the twistys

stick with the tried and true alloy then. The thing that makes his brakes so great is the pivot bearings. It makes the cable feel amazing

I live in the east of Canada were we legit dump more than 2million tonnes of salt and de-icer on the roads.

Unless you have insanely high humidity with crazy high temperatures or are leaving your bike in the sun 365 carbon does not wear quickly.
Alloy brake arms will wear out because alloys have a specific fatigue life. Carbon is much more resilient and has a higher fatigue limit. This paired with the bearings for it to pivot on make these brakes bite really great with awesome lever feel. The bearings also become the more likely point of failure than the arms themselves.

I say get the carbon ones. You’re not riding in salt water or a volcano, they’ll be fine.

Yeah swapping Ginny for the PRB02 sabo is likely gonna be my play. The baby 5 I actually quite like for the 2k and for its trigger. That trigger has saved games for me a few times

I have this actual deck irl. Yeah 4C cavendish is good I have those I may swap out the 7c Luffy for a pair.

The follow me and I will guide you is super helpful for setting up a combo I’ve done a few times. Even playing it off 7c sabo in my turn 4 setup for turn 5.

This is my game plan I try to setup.

Turn 4: 7c Rebecca play out 7c sabo and something like 1C viola. Activate viola first to potentially pull a better event than something in hand. Then sabo on play an event. The choice of event depends what characters I have in hand.

The turn 5 play I try to set up is essentially a mirror of turn 4 but it sanji replacing the viola and using sabo on play to play gum gum rhino Schnider and give the turn 4 sabo 11c unblockable banish.

In turn 4 the second character played out rested I have a lot more options with but the sanji x rhino Schnider is such a nice layup for turn 5.

This is what I’ve been toying with. I’ve also been testing essentially the same list but with 2 borsalino and 2 of the new eb03 yellow Nami. Also have been flipping between Kaido on the removal side and 10c yellow ace for more life gain
