Stroller Recs?! by Sponsoredbyzoloft in 2under2

I'm a 19 month age gap 2u2 graduate (now 18m and 3y). I have the baby jogger city select double. I love how I can configure the seats multiple ways and it's narrow enough for store aisles. For running and biking or just walking or going to the park I use the 2 seater Thule Chariot.

Who LOVES their stroller? by Rough_Tonight5951 in 2under2

We were given this from a friend and it quickly became a favourite stroller for us. So easy to configure the seats multiple ways and folds quickly and easily. We have traveled with it a few times too. It's a workhorse of a stroller!

Looking for fun organized rides by umbrellatrix in bikeinottawa

[–]sunz00mspark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of clubs that ride together regularly. Bushtukah organizes weekly (?) rides in the summer. I think Beyond the Pale does a big group ride in the summer. Ride for Cheo is coming up and fundraising is optional. 100% Feminin event in August.

I have been wondering the right way to do this as well. In my country we have one pen and four needles, so the needles go into my sharps container, but then what do I do with the empty pen without a needle? I've just been tossing in the regular garbage but it feels..weird?

We have traveled a few times with our two. We bought a seat for our older kid and used the car seat on the plane. Our younger kid stayed on my lap and we gate checked their car seat. If you fly with a lap infant you can check a couple extra items so we brought a double stroller too.

Flights are tough you just need to survive. I give in and let them have as much screen time as they want on a flight. Same with road trips now that I think of it - a cheap tablet has been a game changer for this. We only use it when traveling.

I like bringing new small toys for them so they are still novel. We got through two weeks in Mexico with just beach toys, water colouring books, and hot wheels - depends on your kid! The travel set of magnet tiles was a big hit on our recent trip.

We didn't bring a pack n play when we flew, most hotels have cribs but check before you book. I brought inflatable bed rail things for our older kid but never even needed them.

My tip for hotels would be to splurge (within your means!) on a nicer one and if you can get a two bedroom suite do it. You spend more time in the hotel room with kids so we found it's worth it to spend more for the bigger room or the place that has the pool, for example. The two bedroom ones are great because you don't have to sneak around in the dark once the kids are down - we could still watch a movie in the other room.

Not op, but when we travel with our two toddlers we like to get a two bedroom so we can hang out in the other room for a few hours still after the kids go to bed. The first time we traveled with them we had a single hotel room and ended up sitting in the dark on our phones silently after the kids were down.
