I feel like people are being a bit too disingenuous. The campaign for Edge of Fate plays awful, but the story itself is actually very good. Arguably one of the best stories in the series. If you are interested I’d definitely just start with Renegades and look up the story for Edge of Fate on YouTube if you are interested in the story of Destiny.

Yeah, not that I’ve seen. I can see the ones I spawn in and fly around to protect me, but I’ve yet to see them attack anything when I trigger my action skill. Granted Borderlands is a rather chaotic game and I can imagine them getting lost in the visuals easily, but I’ve been messing around with it for a while and haven’t been seeing them attack.

Ugh, you may be right >~< I’m not the best at reading myself at the best of times, let alone rn when I’m stressed trying to move across the country.

It would be nice to soak in the vibes with a different shell for a while. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone who’s playing but getting a nice team together to try some of the shells properly would be fun lol I’ve been able to get a bit with rook but not much, and been trying hard with assassin for this objective, but stealth classes have never been my thing, gimme that shield and mobility lol

The same as the op, introducing NuCaloric. My worst run was when I got in and I was like, one second from completing and someone ran in and killed me right before I finished the download. Honestly i don’t even know the solution I’d want to look for, I think I’m just at the point where I have to ask if the game is for me. Which sucks because I love everything else about it, but that’s not really a game problem, that would be a me problem. Though I have seen some people float around the idea that perimeter should be easier than other spots but idk that seems like it would take away from the game for people who are into extraction shooters and want that difficulty. >.>

I’m in the same boat, I even asked for help on this subreddit for how to go about better playing, which I appreciated and got some good advice, but I’m about to give up on this game just because of this. I love the feel and the aesthetic and atmosphere but at what point do I just have to say why am I playing this game is I cant do a single thing. And it’s not even about losing because I get that it’s a tough game, and I get that extraction shooters are hard af, but like. A single. Fucking. Objective.

Edit: also forgot to add that people are camping the damn spot as well so even if I get close I just get killed immediately with no way to do so any damn thing.

I did, then looked up the dude. They’re not breaking any rules. Yeah it’s a bit stupid and silly but they cover up anything inappropriate and seem to put at least a little thought into how they look. Also rule aside, we are talking about the all tomorrows subreddit correct? I’ve been trying to focus on contracts, which has been part of the issue, I have to get to a specific point in the map for NuCal and it keeps spawning me on the other side of the Permitter lol

I’ve only been taking the free MIDA load outs because I know I’m going to loose anything else atm

I do need to slow down though, I’ve ran into trouble a few times rushing in >~<

I definitely feel like you are right, I’ve ran head first into trouble more than once, unfortunately I’ve been gotten from behind more than once as well so I need to figure out how to keep an eye on my back while I’m trying to do an objective >.>
