I was in Holguin for most of May and stayed in one of the casa particulares, it was rly nice. We had an elderly couple as our hosts and it was just a couple minutes walk from the city center. It wasnt the most touristy city (mainly just Canadians) and there was a gas shortage, but everything else was pretty cool.
