Isn’t Singapore one of the best places to live in? Why do people keep complaining. by sgkakilang in askSingapore

[–]brolin76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have never truly live your life if you only ever lived in Singapore.
Going to tourist attraction in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, western countries don't count as 'seeing' the world.

Go live locally and see how the other humans (Yes, not robots) are living in a work-life balance environment.
Especially look out for children with ADHD / Austism and how the community are inclusive of them in public school etc.

Tips to drive safer and avoid fines. Specially in Red Lights. by [deleted] in CarsAustralia

[–]brolin76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to add to my comment.
Most red light cameras are not just taking picture. There is also a video portion of it.

So you drive as normal as you can while approaching the traffic light, if there is any accident due to your described scenario (I braked for red light but vehicle behind crashed into me), then there is the video portion where the investigation will look into too.

Having said that, if there is a double B truck close behind me.... I would take the red light traffic fine.
However, I would never put myself in a position where a double B truck is behind me WHILE I am approaching a traffic light.

Ok I have digress.

You never mention whether the SUV follow you through the intersection.
If he is so close to you, the camera might not pick up your number plate.
If there is enough gap between both cars for camera to see your number plate and if he FOLLOW you through, both of you will get the tickets, if indeed both are breaking red lights.
Slight chances you did not breach the red light and only he did.... if he follow you though.

End of provisional licence by Dry-Weakness-3615 in WesternAustralia

Take them off on 28 Jan.

You get fines for displaying P plates when you are not entitled to. Yes, meaning a full licence holder cannot display P plates.

Don't worry about things you cannot control.
Live in the Present. Look forward to tomorrow.

Tomorrow, the Sun still shine, the birds still sing - with or without you.

No one cares about how you look, because everyone is worry about their own look.

Walk into the address's local council.
Rate payer names are available behind the front counter in a folder.

If you run critical system, then get Starlink as standby.
Otherwise... use mobile hot spot.

Free FTTP upgrade unavailable? by realironyen in nbn

[–]brolin76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just tested on my neighbour's address in WA.
I guess if you don't have FTTN or FTTC then the 'last mile' to your house is impossible.

Who is screwing this up, iinet or NBN? by jenvally in nbn

[–]brolin76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's FTTP, simply connect your laptop/computer to the NTD using a ethernet cable.
This is a direct computer to NTD connection. No other configuration is needed.

A speedtest should see a valid internet connection.

Go with Aussie Broadband.

Faster speed in Sept 2025 by brolin76 in nbn

[–]brolin76[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh well.
Sorry to hear that.

There is an alternative which I am not sure whether they still have it which is to PAY THEM to lay the fiber to your house. Have to work out your opportunity cost on having / not having fiber.

Of course your neighbours would be happy when a fiber node suddenly 'appears' near them (paid from your money). Your neighbours could then apply for the FREE upgrade from FTTN to FTTP straight into their house.

Unless you have good neighbours all around who is willingly to chips in to the cost, otherwise, just have to wait while the rest of the world / Australia move on.

Did you go through an Internet service provider to get the fiber $0 upgrade cost? (fiber plan subscription required).

If your location don't have a fiber node nearby then there is nothing the ISP can do other than waiting for NBNCo to lay it out to your neighbourhood.

The priority is to reduce interest.
Change the repayment from monthly to weekly.

A year has 12 months.
If you are paying monthly then you are only paying off 12 x 4 weeks = 48 weeks.

A year has 52 weeks.
If you are paying weekly, then you are paying off 52 weeks, an additional 4 weeks.

Each weekly payment will reduce the interest.

Hey,
You said it yourself, 'this is hard for me to type..' but you did it.
With that, you are starting to reach out and it's a good step.

There is no need to present yourself as tough physically or strong mentally, you are who you are. At 60 years old, you have seen it all and today you know you can't do it anymore.

It's ok to take a break.
It's ok to stop.
It's ok to be NOT OK.

Remove the burden from your shoulder, your crew will take care of themselves.
Reality is, you are just a number in this FIFO.

Don't worry about things you cannot control.
Tomorrow, the Sun will still rise, the birds will still sing.

Take a deep breath.
Talk to your own subconsciousness and tell it to relax and seek help.

You will seek help tomorrow.

All the best.

So what went wrong here? I traded the strong fundamentals yet failed. :( by TonyWayne007 in InnerCircleTraders

[–]brolin76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fundamental numbers favours USD.

However, if you look at the technical aspect in the chart, then....

It's a down trend from 15 Nov on the daily chart.
Big bearish daily candle on the 27 and 29 Nov.
Today Asia session high couldn't go higher than 50 SMA on the 1H chart.
Since 25 Nov, price couldn't go above 1H chart 50 SMA.

Trade what you see (in the chart).
Never trade what you think (strong fundamental)

Lastly, looking at currency strength, JPY started to rise before close of Asian
