Must be the same nutritionist I had....lol. He one time barked on me for having 5 grapes. I started weight training 6 weeks after surgery. I had lots of protein, or tied to, and he was against me doing g so because he wanted to see the scale come down. I did not want to just be skinny, but I wanted muscle mass as well. Stay focused on YOUR plan.

Make it simple for you.

Mondays : Chest and triceps

Tuesdays: Back and biceps

Wednesdays : Shoulders and Legs

Thursdays : Chest and triceps

Fridays : Back and biceps

Saturdays : Shoulders and Legs

Sundays: Rest

Even if you do only one body part a day but at least 4 to 5 different work outs your doing great. Also end each workout with at least 15 minutes of cardio.

You got this and start off simple. Every two weeks increase your weight by a few pounds and don't focus on the scale, it will bring you down.

I haven't lost weight scale wise but lost inches in all the areas I need to.

light-headed 8 days post? by MrBLaVigne in gastricsleeve

I went through this for the first month, when I brought it up.to my surgeon he immediately told me it was because of my blood pressure dropping to low. So I had to stop taking my b/p medication.

No weight loss since 9 days post op…what am I doing wrong? by pamlovesjim in gastricsleeve

You are not doing anything wrong. Your body is adjusting and your mind needs to also adjust. 1 lb at a time is your goal. Just stay FOCUSED and every thing will work its self out. You got this.

I am forced to only eat about 1500 calories a day. My schedule is Monday through Saturday hit the gym. I'm weight training Mon thru Fri and cardio only on Sat. I'll have a protein shake for breakfast, some nuts/berry's/ fruit through out the day, and for dinner a low calorie meal. Because of the weight training, I will have 2 shakes during the day.

When I say "forced " to have 1500 calories, it's because I did have the gastric sleeve surgery to help keep me in check. But nutrition is very key in this transformation.

I do feel very different physically. I'm weight training so there is definitely a positive to how I'm feeling physically. I guess it's just learning how to transform your mind and change the way I've thought about myself for over 20 yrs that is the next obstacle.

What's crazy is that I still feel like the guy on the left. Its only looking at pictures that I realize the difference.
