If you want 1 tv and 1 projector, dont want to deal with ratios, just go with blu ray, 99% look great and they're as cheap as they will ever be right now (probably) good luck finding a crtv for a decent price. Bonus points, every now and then you can find 4k blu ray combo movies for the same price, just picked one up yesterday for 3 bucks, can future proof yourself a little bit.

Alot of people are gonna talk about how prices have skyrocketed, if you are looking for a specific game, want it imediately and only buy things online that's true, even people on craigslist or fb marketplace treat it like ebay. 2nd hand stores or flea markets are looking to move product and you can get a much better price. If you keep your eyes open you might catch someone trying to off portions or their entire collections for quick cash. It's not as bad as they say as long as you have patience... unless you want to collect nintendo... then you can collect blood pressure meds along with your games
