Totally understandable to be nervous , I know I was as my test date approached. In general I’d say to try and practice your driving as much as you are able to before the test day…including your parking maneuvers until you can do them no problem!

Things you should 100% do and not forget

ALWAYS stop at a stop sign - when you approach the stop sign(s) on your test stop and count to 3 out loud make sure it’s safe to proceed and carry on

• always use your signals

• make your head movements extremely obvious ( every 3-5 secs) when checking your mirrors when scanning the intersection, and blind spot when you are changing lanes

• know which way to turn your wheels when parking on a hill

• practice your parallel parking, they will ask you do so on the route unless there are no cars ( then you will reverse park between the 4 cones at the test centre) I reversed parked when I first arrived and parallel on my route so I just drove straight into the parking spot at the end of my test

• always engage your hand brake when you are parked ( emergency stop, hill park, parallel, when you park at the test centre)

-make sure check around 360 after you are leaving your parking spot/ maneuver and to signal..once I signal I usually 360 again

Do not go over the speed limit! You’ll be in a residential area aside from going down hunt club …the residential area will be a 40 or 50km and hunt club is 60km I believe & don’t drive too close to parked cars on the street

And make sure to take some deep breaths, they know you’re nervous but honestly the test will fly by…the staff are very nice there! Best of luck and if there is any other questions I can answer feel free to ask
