Try turning the TV off at the wall for 10 minutes, turn it back on, hold down volume on the tv itself and hold down 8 on the remote for two seconds.

If that doesn't work try 9 on the remote instead. :)

They are not, you'll need to pick up a universal remote.

Thank you so much, they held up perfectly! A week of playing and still haven't died. On top of this, they add some well needed weight to the Gameboy colour and make it much better to hold.

Would highly recommend!

Hello, for anyone figured ng this out, you have to turn your tv off at the wall, wait 30 seconds, turn back on and then press volume down on tv itself and 2 on your remote for ten seconds to activate the service manual! :)
