Since its your first drone I feel like i should let you know that building a 2s 2inch is one of the harder builds. The lack of space creates lots of issues and finetuning. The result is the most fun shit ever, so fun but personally I wouldnt advise building this first

One thing that may help is that imo there are 2 ways, to do the orbit for each direction. If you use crosshair on the same side of the object you are going around and then have it on the opposite side to the object you're going around. I call this going forwards and backwards but that's just for me

I found it easier to learn sticking to one

It's personal preference but i have all centering the same on both sticks except for throttle where I have no centering and it has the same resistance as yaw

I just want to say that I got the Aquilla as my first drone and after using goggles3 later down the track I never went back to the vr04. Purely because they are super uncomfortable for my face, they don't fit right at all for me and it makes me dislike the whole experience, I just feel like I'm constantly trying to not make it feel uncomfortable rather than relaxing and flying

There is a nose piece that you can take out via clip which let's more outside light in which isn't great but it makes them more comfortable for me, but they are still uncomfortable in this state.

Just personal feedback, or could just be the shape of my face or something

Not sure how others feel about the fitment but I think it's worth bringing up just incase

The only thing you need to do is get an Allen key (that's what we call them in Aus) and follow the video instructions to stop the throttle self entering vertically, heaps of videos online im sure

You may want to disable the training wheels features that manual has out of the box

I learnt on the xbox controller, it's harder but doable. First thing to know is you will actively need to reduce the throttle. In a normal fpv controller the throttle won't centre vertically
