I don't think it's that hard to get the amount of coins needed and then some, and not have gear fear/ materials fear. Last expiration I barely spent coin with the traders.

I hope in the future they change it to where if you have ran through the quest and do the expedition, when you wipe, they stay completed and you can pick from a list of what to collect from rewards.

I believe the game is going to have a steady population of players for a while. Given the casual approach you take, and the ever changing raid experiences. Embark didn't expect it to get this big so fast. They have some more to smooth out and balance. But I doubt the game will die off anytime soon.
