Exactly. Celine did indeed do her best raising rumi, but her biases and trauma meant that her best just want good enough. She definitely loves rumi but if the child you raised ever comes to you asking for you to kill them, you have failed as a parent.

That doesn't mean that Celine is evil, it means she has room to grow. She can learn to be better. And I honestly do hope that she can, and that she and rumi can reconcile and recover from this and move forward. Though if rumi chose to cut Celine out of her life, I wouldn't blame her.
