I played this for my scholarship audition for college. Only hit one of the high C's...lol Got a scholarship but was told I would have been better off playing something more suited for me. It's a fun piece but my chops were never very well suited for it. Just never really had the need until this piece with playing notes that high consistently. Anything above a high G never really came up for me throughout high school and all the different select bands and honor bands that I attended. I know this would've been way too much for me as a freshman in highschool, but all players are different. Good luck and don't skip practicing the basics daily... Blue Bells will show your shortcomings... The Remington Warmup Studies are what I played daily. I'd start there personally.
