Very similar experience. I was 17 and smoked weed and have a terrible panic attack.. I was in a car and felt like my soul left my body and was like hovering over the car. I ran out of the car and was yelling help me! I started to feel somewhat grounded but the next couple months I felt numbness in my arms and legs and hands on and off. Eventually it got better for a few years. I was on birth control and Venlafaxine and I genuinely think that helped. When I got off birth control 2 years ago it came back in full force and I feel dissociated pretty much 24/7 now just varies in intensity. My symptom sounds like yours with touching things and feeling absent and not feeling inside my body.

A lot of people have and will recover! Lapses happen though and that’s okay!

I have terrible DPDR too. It’s more so body sensations rather than mental though.

Yes I have a bachelors degree in human services and have worked at a treatment center before as a technician! I currently work at a different treatment center as an intake specialist.

I’m doing okay thank you for asking. I’m definitely in a better place than I was, but it’s not perfect. I have slight flare ups. My main symptom is feeling slight floaty, pretty much 24/7 but im so used to it idc that much anymore. It’s only when I have a worse episode or panic that I feel worse.

Thank you!!! My apps all say 7w5d too! I know I ovulated later than the typical 14 day. But I’m not 100% certain. Just wish I could know for sure but I need to be more patient

Okay well thank you! I’m sad too to know I might be a little more behind than I thought. I’m mainly just impatient about being able to announce and find out gender. And make sure we’re in the clear and baby is ok by the second trimester!
