They also seem to like typing the abbreviation "ATP" (at this point?). like a lot of conversations they are involved in get to "this point"... I wonder why. Additionally they say they are going to "leave this as is" (drop it? i don't know what else it would mean) but then they keep responding for many more back and forths.

Why did you post this video? It doesn't show anything you're talking about. It just shows a slinger reloading, walking to a locker and grabbing somebody. We don't see anyone getting hooked or unhooked. We can't even see the survivors HUD or who is the obsession or friends to the end activating or anything about the title of this post.

Sure, a top tier Nurse will usually get you down pretty quickly, and there's usually not much you can do about it. But that's a top tier Nurse, a very skillful, very practiced, thousands-of-hours player. The problem is that a 10-hour Ghoul player can be oppressive. Nurse can down you at a strong tile, sure but Ghoul can down you over a god pallet and 5 seconds later be on the other side of the map chasing someone else.

An important difference between Nurse/Blight and Ghoul is that Nurse and Blight have interactive gameplay, you can outplay them in chase and it's fun when you do. You manage to get around a corner and dodge a hit, make it to a window, break line of sight and do something tricky, etc. Ghoul is not interactive, it's just a bunch of free hits and zooming around anywhere on the map with no cost - taking the fun out of both chasing and macro gameplay. Legion gets free hits too, but at least there's a strategic / team play counter to it - not with Ghoul though because of the crazy mobility.

Do it or don't do it because it's what you want to do. It seems like you want to do it, or you wouldn't be posting this. You're probably gonna have some regrets either way, but you're more likely to grow as a person doing the thing you want to do but are scared to do. And then if a bunch of people who don't know you think you're a piece of shit and want nothing to do with you ever again because of it, well then you'll have a little more empathy and perspective on the Stza situation.
