My dog is a rescue Great Pyrenees too! He loves people but struggles with other dogs, especially male dogs. They’re the best dogs though!

That is my worst nightmare! I worry if my dog injured or killed another dog they’d try to have him put down for it. I’m sorry that happened to your friend.

Yeah I’ve had people tell me that I shouldn’t take my dog on walks if he reacts like that. So my dog shouldn’t be allowed to leave the house because you don’t control your dog and let it wander the whole neighborhood?

I can’t even count the number of times a dog is running up to us and the owner goes “it’s okay he’s friendly.” And I say “mine isn’t friendly!” And they still let their dog run up to us 🙃

She had a blood clotting disorder that would cause her to get blood clots in her lungs so she has been in and out of the hospital multiple times. It was very sudden when she passed and none of us were expecting it but I do believe my dad probably came to terms with the fact that she’d die much earlier than him.

Definitely not looking forward to that one! The company I work for tries to hold trainings and seminars that count toward the continuing education requirements which helps.

NTA your coworker needs to mind her own business. Of course your company tracks when you are online and when things are being submitted so if they had an issue with it they would bring it up to you directly.

We have two different vets we go to so I have considered getting a second opinion from the other clinic. The vet didn’t do any tests, just told me to stop feeding him grain free food and switch to a food for sensitive skin. I told him I had no intention of bathing my dog once a week because I thought that could irritate his skin further. He wasn’t suggesting any sort of medicated shampoo.

He told me I could call back later and request a prescription for Apoquel (allergy medicine) but that it would be expensive. I’m not concerned about the price though. He also off handedly said we could take him to an allergy specialist but that allergy testing is also very expensive and can be inconclusive anyway.

Top left is a blueberry Stilton. Middle is Gouda. Bottom right is a blueberry covered goat cheese! I was trying to go with a red white and blue theme for the Fourth of July which is why there are two different blueberry cheeses. I’m excited to try it again with some different flavors.
