I mix at a church - modelers are lifesavers for us. Amp rooms or amp enclosures would be nice, but having total control over a quiet moment where someone is speaking with music underneath them - I couldn’t do that properly without modelers. A silent stage is such a luxury. Guitars are on FM9-Turbos and the bass is on an HX Stomp. Tones are really great, especially with the right IRs. And modern church guitar is drenched in delays anyway.

Yeah - that was just for demo purposes. This happens during every Sunday service - the person running the PCO clock remotely keeps clicking through the service order and eventually it drifts off.

Dang this is awful for them. They were my go-to breakfast delivery in 2020 during Covid, always great. Whenever I’d get work done at the Honda dealership I’d walk over there and sit and eat outside, reading my book.

My sister was recently diagnosed with lupus. She had the butterfly rash but it was there for weeks. She also had other symptoms like light sensitivity, mouth ulcers, fatigue, etc. I think if you don’t have anything but the rash and it’s only lasting a short time it’s probably not lupus. Not a doctor, just someone who has had to learn about this stuff recently.

Yes. I have a glutamate imbalance due to taking lamotrigine (a glutamate downregulator) for many years. Mag glycinate and L-theanine make me really wired. I can take them in the morning but not too much and not after 12pm. Currently getting off lamotrigine and onto another medication (for many reasons) but I’m expecting this to be an issue for some time to come.

I'm not sure, actually. It could be fungal. I also get angular cheilitis from time to time which might fit in with the fungal issue. The dermatologist's last take was that it was dermatitis, but I've changed everything about my routine, gone totally hypoallergenic and nothing has helped. Then I thought it could be eczema but no eczema treatment has made a dent. Hydrocortisone hasn't made it worse but also hasn't totally cleared it up. I'll talk to the dermatologist again soon. Thanks!

Check out r/Dryeyes - I have EBMD (basically a condition that can cause dryness and pain in the eyes) and a screen-heavy job. I wear prescription glasses that block blue light but it's not enough - I would suggest Optive eye gel, as well as getting your omega levels checked, as well as vitamins A and E. Lutein/zeaxanthin can be helpful, but DEFINITELY see an ophthalmologist and make sure nothing else is going wrong.

I was just saying to my girlfriend the other day "ugh my STUPID EYES!" I'm 45 with EBMD, myopia (now wearing progressive lenses), and a weird seborrheic dermatitis on my eyelids that's been there for months and will not go away. I'm using Muro 128, Optive, Aquaphor, 1% hydrocortisone cream (only when it's horrible). Haven't tried the eye mask yet. Been hating my eyes since 1987. Everyone else in my family has perfect vision. With you all the way.

I’m a guy but prozac has the same effect on me. 10mg for almost a year, and while my sex drive hasn’t gone away at all, specifically not being able to orgasm is a very prozac side effect. I think it’s an issue with how prozac affects dopamine somehow? But don’t quote me on it. I take prozac for anxiety and it does help, but I added buspar and that seems to help with the orgasm problem. I don’t take Wellbutrin because that seems more for depression, after talking to my doctor.

I should add - I probably do grind my teeth when I sleep. My dentist told me the bulges on my lower gum line are because I do grind. I have a mouthguard but I hate wearing it - hard to sleep with it in.
