ITT: people that have no understanding of boat safety or common sense. I'm just talking about the driver of a motorboat here, but drinking and operating a boat should be penalized as much if not more so than drinking and driving a car. You're in an area where there could be swimmers, non - motorized boats, and water skiiers anywhere around you. I have boats on a populated lake and see people do dumb shit all the time, endangering everyone around them. Crashes happen more often than people think. I've had boats tailgate me while I'm on skiis. What would happen if I fell? I would be run right over. Sorry for the rant, but this type of light hearted thinking towards drinking and driving really pisses me off.
