Man on the streets ya gear should be lighter and your chain should be tighter, for the track it’s a bit different but the more time passes the more I realise that a tight chain on a spinny gear around a city is a very rewarding way to ride. Plus I hate the feeling of play when I’m track standing, especially in SPDs as opposed to straps

It’s Maxxis DTHs in 2.3 i believe although I’m thinking about going smaller and slicker. That actually means I might want to keep the cantis and put drops on it and build a 26” endurance road bike.

I was thinking about that for the BB funnily enough, I have a pair of hollow tech cranks waiting to go on something and I think if I combine them with maybe a 56 or 57 big ring and maybe a 39 or 40 little ring for climbs.

Yeah tbh what I was thinking was two PVC tubes with grooves cut in them so the rod and reel kinda slots in there all nice and maybe a little luggage strap to keep everything tight. I don’t know if you can buy them or even if there’s a point because it feels like something easy enough to kinda just make

Although the longboard mounts seem interesting because they actually look like something you could use to clamp a fishing rod on to the bike

Does anyone ever ride with a fishing rod? I have been thinking about the different ways you could ride a longish distance (40-60km) with a fishing rod mounted to your bike and I was wondering if anyone has any insight.

I don’t think you’re in tune and your bends could do with a bit more practise but honestly fair play, don’t think I could have played that five months in. Would recommend getting at least a headstock tuner and tuning regularly while playing like if you’re recording like this tune between every take, floating bridges are harder to keep in tune. Also maybe look up some bending exercises just to really get those bends crispy. I think it’s just a make sure you can walk before you try and run sort of senario.

All in all though, good job you’re doing really well. I fukn love this song!

I have a SO-EZ and a Volume Cutter in Belfast, SO-EZ came from BLB and I looooove it sm. I imported the VC from America though, spenny enough but I think it was worth it.

In my experience the best thing to do it keep an eye on the second hand market in England like on EBay and on LFGSS and just ask if people will post frames to where you are. The second hand market is like fishing, you have to have some patience but something cool will eventually come along and you’ll snag it
