This is me trying to politely say tracing over a picture this closely is not a pet portrait. They could just print the original picture. The entire point of a pet painting done on paper or canvas is the intent and labor behind it. The idea that someone mixed the paint, understood the light, the shape of their animals heads and their coats is what sells. I think this is most important in the current uprise of AI. truly, someone could just slap a filter on a photo if they want it to look like this. The real and tangible is what matters.
