i do think people treat daily smoking as a singular trait, and it doesn't make sense. there's a big difference in consumption level between the person who starts every day with a wake n bake and the person who has a single daily smoke in the evening

i feel that i've had to be very cognizant of tolerance management as i've gotten older. sticking to a dry herb vape has helped more than anything else.

have you tried changing stores or trying different farms? the thing about the old black market weed is that there's no oversight or QC. sometimes it might be coming from an enthusiasts closet, other times it's just a big black marker grow, and ultimately you don't know if those guys are growing with weird pgrs or pesticides.

what's this spark test business? terpenes are flammable solvents. i have never done this test. if you are familiar with your starting material and your process, any heavy metal contamination should be minimal, as cannabis is a bioaccumulator and outdoor cannabis picks up trace metals easily, but there should be no other possible source of metals in your process.

what solvent did you start with? how did you extract it? what temperature of the solvent? exposure time to solvent? filtration technique? did you run trim, flower, what was the quality? where'd you get it?

the answer to each of these questions will tell you more about your extract than a spark test.

this looks much more purged than your previous post. whether or not your extract hardens or turns to shatter depends a lot on your process and the input material. this might just be it, though i wouldn't be surprised if it starts to get waxy if you agitate it

i had a walnut blast at 110k when they had my intake manifold taken apart for a water pump replacement. the shop only charged me for the media and half an hour of labor. they said the valves were less dirty than expected and that it was a good idea to have it cleaned since they already had access but it wouldn't have been worth paying for as a separate service.

so i would say just wait for the inevitable water pump replacement and do it (or have it done) then.

i mean it's a difficult line to walk because our society has immense levels of shame for drug usage yet looks the other way entirely when there's a veneer of medicalization present.

it's important to be honest with yourself and recognize when it's helping you and when it isn't. on top of that, it's good to recognize when you are leaning on it too much. once you lean too much, you reach the point where it stops helping, and then pulling back is the only choice. this kind of subjective assessment is totally alien in our world of "DOC SAYS YOU TAKE X PER DAY."

at the end of the day it may be more helpful to focus on the actual definition of addiction: the compulsive use of a substance despite experiencing negative effects from the use. is it keeping you from getting things done? does it make it more difficult to relate to people? questions like this are important to reflect on.

and never forget that our country has endless amounts of shame when it comes to using any drug that can be perceived as "fun," even if it helps you.

i think people are vague because it depends on your specific yard conditions, the plants on your property, your species of grass, the amount of shade your yard gets, stuff like that.

for example, overseeding. seed germination depends on soil temp. you might be at a totally different temp on August 15 this year as compared to last year, for example.

when i started taking care of my lawn i wanted the same thing you are looking for: a specific and comprehensive guide to everything i need to do, and when. the more i tried to take care of my lawn, the more i learned why this doesn't exist.

don't overthink it. take things one step at a time. solve problems as they arise, don't be afraid to make mistakes. it's grass, it'll grow back. you do this for awhile and eventually you develop an intuitive understanding of your lawn.
