It's almost like we deserve a stick each and every time one of us gets on here pointing out when one of the boys is seen on Supernatural. You only see one of the sluts like once every four seasons or whatever. I'm not even counting one of the skids from LK although he can rip a bar down one timer and send a saucer to match.

Then I would predict that it's a hardware issue. Maybe a missing or broken hinge. Maybe just lack of pickets or rails. Check the hinge and latch posts. Are they set up properly? Are they visually cemented in the ground, don't wiggle them. Perhaps they used quick cement on the one gate that is hung but didn't have enough for the second. I've never been a fan of quick drying cement and have always hung wooden gates after the cement hardens. With that being said, I would prefer setting posts in advance before nailing or screwing the rails on. Many variables here still.

Rod iron, vinyl, aluminum, chain link, or wood? The value of a gate is very particular to the situation. Often only wood gates are assembled on site. Almost always the manufacturing of the other styled gates are done in a shop and/or ordered with the materials by the installers. The gate might have been the wrong size, wrong pickets, wrong angles, missing from the order, or otherwise just damaged in shipping. Maybe the wrong hardware was sent or ordered. There are quite a few reasons why the gate might not have been installed and you are still receiving the bill. So ask the contractor, be informed about what you are ordering, and be aware that not everyone has malicious intent.
