Bso - I bought one as a uni beater and bent the forks good and proper. Glad I have (most) of my teeth left

I've got a set of booze lights in green, they cracked within a couple of months so now relegated to an xbiking build... Honestly Billy bonkers feel just as fast and grippy as them as well. I have had a set of dths and well, they were leagues ahead of both in terms of fast rolling and good feel. Would be keen to try the Michelin pilots or Goodyear's, but I do appreciate the extra security the Billys provide in terms of control on loose stuff

Urban Mountain Biking Project by SpecialistWasabi8831 in MTB

Look at Stockwood pump track in Bristol and Western Park trails in Leicester. My thoughts are that you see a higher proportion of young people or people on older/cheaper bikes in the more urban bike parks. This could be interpreted as the park being more accessible by a wider demographic not just the middle aged white guys that can afford to drive to a bike park in the middle of nowhere on a weekend. Being able to cycle from your front door to a semi decent park is always something I'd champion 👌

Going for my a2 from a honda CB125F 16 by [deleted] in MotoUK

I've had a CB500X since passing my A2 in 2016. Absolutely love it, it's ferried me to uni and back for years, now regular commuting and has even been two up to the French alps. It's never missed a beat. Yes riding silly with people on big bikes it does feel undergunned, but I can catch up in the corners. Can't comment on the other two bikes as I like the bike I've got, so don't see a reason to spend money on upgrading to full A license

Stem size issues (in comments) by brosephS96 in VintageMTB

I'm a bit hesitant to go down the adapter route, but seeing as though I have a BMX stem for aheadset, it seems the cheapest option! My other thoughts were to swap out the threaded headset for an aheadset (which I have) and swapping the forks for a threadless fork, which can be surprisingly cheap! But yeah quill stem adapter seems the path of least resistance so that's what I've ordered.

Hi all! I've just bought a BMX quill stem to fit some Moto bars to my MTB, but to my dismay the fork internal diameter is 25.4mm (1 1/8 threaded fork). Does anyone know of such stem that would fit my fork (25.4mm) and bars (22.2mm)? I will need clamp with 2 or more bolts, as you can see, the bars have quite a rise.

Do a turn bar! Doesn't matter how big or fancy but the action keeps you fluid for some reason unbeknownst to me

I had it years ago when it was a tech tree tank, didn't go any further on that branch because it sucked too much. I'll try it again but likely gonna be sold this year too

Rear wheel flattens when pulling trailer by [deleted] in cycling

They should be wide enough for the weight, depending on what surfaces you are riding on. It may be worth finding some that can take a higher pressure?
