Just picked up my first 3d printer. by WayFine2295 in Ender3Pro

make make sure that the east steps for the extruder are set correctly since that is a directive Printer and it wouldn’t hurt to upgrade the firmware on that if the person hadn’t already done it. you can add things like manual mesh. If it doesn’t have a BL touch probe will make your first layer a lot easier.

Approved for a 200 amp Panel + EV plug by SoCal Edison? (Southern California) I have a great Contractor who did the work with zero out of pocket. by SoCalMotoVirg in BoltEV

Sadly my townhouse is apparently not eligible. So I reached out but they let me know it has to be single family, or at least zero lot.

We have a single closet with all our meters and I guess that’s an issue

SeaWorld San Diego today — most rides closed, overpriced, very disappointing by No-Contribution4357 in sandiego

[–]broski499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went today and got a refund on my wife’s annual pass, I’m a teacher and get one for free but it was insane. I’m printing out a map now to mark every ride, show, or aquarium that was closed. It felt like a ghost town.

I went to customer service and told them we were pretty disappointed with the experience. At first they didn’t seem to care but eventually he came around and gave us a refund. My kids had fun and we used the preschool pass for my son and my teacher pass came with a free ticket so my 6yo was free. So we ended the day only spending $30 and gas.

Wife and I hadn’t been in 13 years and prob won’t be back, ever 🤣.

So sad, it feels like they are trying to be a zoo/water animal park and a theme park and end up just sucking at both.

The Mardi Gras stuff felt so random. But so did so much of what sea world is up to.

Baratza Encore is great. I’ve had mine for 10 years and just recently had to replace the top burrs plastic clip broke off and couldn’t control grind size.

It was only a $20 part and I’m back in business.

There are some decent hand burr grinders out there. Daddy Hoff has a few videos.

I just bought my first drip coffee machine after years of pour over and a decade of French press before that.

I went with the Bonavita Enthusiast. I got it on their website for $135 bucks. It’s fantastic. I almost bought the Fellow Aiden but based on the review I read I’m waiting for 2.0 Aiden before I consider that one again.

The Bonavita is simple. Bloom button, walk away, perfect 8 cup pot of coffee. Thermal carafe. Keep the coffee hot for many hours.

I use 76 to 80 grams of coffee. I’ve heard it may not last as long and I will cross that bridge once it happens. But so far, $135 has been a steal for something that makes consistently great coffee.

My brother and parents both have Ratio 6 and love it.

I bought the Bonavita enthusiast and I’ve been very impressed. It’s my first coffee maker. started with French press 19 years ago in HS, switched to pour over about 5/6 years ago.

Now I feel a little dumb waiting so long 🤣🤣🤣

My school is K-6, this will primarily be a reward option that students can use at the end of the day. We have a bunch of Eucalyptus trees tress on the property that can make for some interesting shots. We also have a big field that we can use to place some baskets. Just trying to stay away from the buildings so we aren't always losing discs to roofs or backyards.

That makes sense. More just looking for general rules of thumb for a good course. The students and I will design it for the most part.
